Amber MacMenigall - Business Process Manager

Amber is a native Californian, born and raised in Grass Valley. After working at a local CPA firm, Amber joined OMICI in 2002 as an Administrative Assistant, Amber moved into the Construction Department and performed various projects such as; overseeing the construction files, processing all draw requests, depositing funds, and maintaining the funding requests. Amber then relocated to the Investor/Borrower Relations Department. This required assisting in the Escrow Department, where she would help to send Lender/Purchaser Disclosure packets. Her responsibilities included processing payments, pro-rating and posting payments and maintaining payment disbursement accounts.

Amber then became the focal point of posting all interest payments, preparing deposits, sending late payment letters, and disbursing monthly interest payments to investors. In just a short six months Amber took on the important responsibility of processing loans when they have paid off.

At the end of 2003, Amber began her endeavor as the Business Process Manager. This position included being part of the process of creating, documenting and implementing all of OMICI’s new policies and procedures, analyzing data and communications, as well as training, cross training and accessing fellow co-workers and their processes. Amber was also responsible for helping to create and assess documents to improve customer service.

Amber continued to create and implement guidelines in all departments. While she became LLC department back up, assisting in all Fund account changes and year end audits working directly with our audit firm, she really saw an opportunity in the investment department to implement more efficient and effective policies & procedures. By 2011, Amber headed up the ACH project which allows each investor to get their disbursement quickly and expedites the distribution process. She then started processing all Fund distributions.

It was only natural that Amber transition into her most recent endeavor in managing the Investment Department for both Funds as well as Individual Investors. With Amber’s dedication and experience OMICI is very excited about her taking on this role. Amber’s well rounded knowledge of each Department at OMICI has made her a valuable team member.
